On Saturday 1st July (the night before the wedding) we are planning a get together to allow people to get to know each other before the big day. If anyone is interested in joining us please let us know.
The venue is La Bottega del Fattore in Fornaci De Barga which is about 3 miles from Barga
The cost will be 18 euros without transport or 22 euros including return transport to and from Barga
This will include :-
A couple of cocktails with crostini out on the patio
A selection of Italian starters including cold meats, cheeses and fried doughballs
Lasagne or Pasta Pomodoro
A desert
Unlimited wine and beer (Yes you read that correctly!!!!!)
We will confirm times and pick ups closer to the day once we know numbers but imagine this will be from about 7pm-11pm (not too late a finish so we can all enjoy the Big Day)
Lucca is hosting its annual summer festival whilst we are there with some big names this year such as Robbie Williams, Erasure, Green Day, Ran N Bone Man, Lauren Hill, Pet Shop Boys and Kasabian to name a few. As a result the city may be busy but could also be worth a visit as there are also lots of smaller concerts on with entertainment throughout the city in what is already a great place to visit

On Friday 30th June - La Terraza in Albiano will be hosting their weekly dance which costs 15 euros and will include a starter, a main course, a desert and coffee plus a half bottle of wine per person.
